Deployment of your iMSense

  1. To attach the device effectively, begin by removing the protective sheet from the back of the RTL to expose the adhesive tape. After doing so, affix the RTL securely to the last pallet at chest height, ensuring it faces the door. This positioning is crucial for maintaining a clear signal, which is essential for optimal data transmission.

  2. It is important to ensure that your RTL remains uncovered and unobstructed, as doing so could impede the accuracy of sensor readings.

  3. To ensure effective data transmission, it is advisable to activate your RTL device 30 minutes to an hour prior to the scheduled departure of your shipment or before the container is closed and sealed. This practice allows for verification of data transmission. Be aware that if the RTL is activated in an area with a weak cellular signal, the data may not immediately appear on the dashboard until the device exits the facility. Nevertheless, the device will continue to record data throughout the entire journey.
